Comox Gets Hammered

It's been rainy lately, but I think Comox across the Strait of Georgia is getting the worst of it.

Look at this rain cell focused on top of our across-water neighbour. -- Margy

  1. Ooh, very west coast-y weather, Margy. My parents ran away to the Island after they were 75, and lived in Fanny Bay just south of Comox and Courtenay, so they would have had the same kind of weather.
The beauty of the Island more than made up for the weather, too.

  5. Kay - Isn't Fanny Bay where all the great oysters come from? YUM!

Paul - If you live in Powell River you always have a good view.

Stephanie - Seems like you get more dark clouds, rain and lightning on your side of the Strait.

Linnea - We get some spectacular weather to watch from our balcony. Makes for pretty easy SkyWatch shots too.
